DP6 constructed three residential complexes of glass and wood in an informal area of gardens, sheds, meandering paths and ageing trees.
Unlike traditionally enclosed residential blocks, the 80 senior citizen residence blocks will be turned 'inside out'. The entrances will be situated along the oak galleries surrounding the periphery of the sheltered courtyard, while gardens and balconies will be located in front of the structure. Large glass facades will provide the residents ample view over their neighbourhood from their living rooms or balconies.
