ACCOMMODATIONS FOR TURKISH ELDERLY

The apartments in this building are intended for a special group of occupants, elderly people of Turkish descent. Within the fabric of Dutch society, these people form a uniquely close-knit group, though certainly not remote from the world around them. This has been trans-lated into the shape and structure of the building, wrapped as it is in a brick surround that matches its environment. The steps up to the terrace lead to the world inside, with its light and colours that exude the warmth of the Mediterranean. It's an invitation to step into a special world.
