UITVINDERSBUURT

The Uitvindersbuurt (inventors district) is one of the first urban expansion areas of Ede, dating from the post-war reconstruction period. The plan is characterised by different fields, each with its own theme and housing typology, interconnected by a structure of green lanes, streets, and enclosed areas. The central theme for the entire neighbourhood is the reference to the architecture of Dudok, with each field giving its own interpretation
