DP6 to transform Utrecht University's Transcomplex

DP6 and its design team are set to transform the Transcomplex in the heart of Utrecht, home to Utrecht University's Faculty of Humanities. Located on Trans, Korte Nieuwstraat, Pausdam and Achter de Dom, the complex comprises thirteen interconnected buildings, many of them nationally listed monuments, dating from various periods from the 15th century onwards. The large-scale renovation is aimed at creating a future-proof environment, with a focus on maintenance, sustainability, comfort and accessibility.

In addition to DP6, the design team consists of Galjema, Pieters Delft, LBP|SIGHT, Bureau Vlaardingerbroek and HI-Plus, and is currently working with the university on the preliminary design.
