IKC MMiXX
De Wegwijzer primary school has reached a crossroads that offers plenty of possibilities for renewal. While the school is presently split into two buildings and two teams, on its new site it will consist of one building, one team and one vision. Together with the Partou day-care centre, it will form a distinctive and unique Integral Children’s Centre (IKC), which offers a pedagogical and didactically continuous learning line where children are offered a range of development opportunities in a domestic setting.
Part of the existing building on this site is preserved and incorporated into the structure of the neighbourhood along with the new volume. The warm and inviting feel of the building creates a setting where pupils can develop as individuals in a cosy, domestic setting.
