Rijnsburg building reaches highest point

The construction of the apartment building on the former civic amenity site in Rijnsburg has reached its highest point. On Friday, 30 September Krijn van der Spijk (alderman of Katwijk) and Alfred Busser (managing director of Dunavie housing corporation) hoisted flags to mark the occasion. The building’s design also received praise: “A fantastic location to live in, with a marvellous view. DP6 architects not only managed to produce a beautiful design for a compact building, but much effort has also gone into sustainability. Each house will be fitted with three solar panels connected to their own meter to generate power.”

The apartment building is being constructed by KBM Group and is expected to be ready for completion in March 2017.
